Massey University has been involved in research and teaching activities that relate to SMEs for some twenty years. As a research Centre we have a proven capability to manage large-scale projects, with a sound methodological approach and a reputation for delivering on time.
Within New Zealand and Australia, we are the leading group of researchers in SMEs, enterprise development and entrepreneurship.
Within New Zealand we have a wide network of academics, businesses and government agencies. We are proud to host the secretariat of the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ) - the Australasian affiliate of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB). We also have established relationships with leading European SME and Entrepreneurship Research Centres.
As a university-based centre we are firmly committed to making our research available to all of those interested in SME development. Download our research reports or contact us and we will help you access a copy.
We see research as successful when useful answers are found to current issues. Based on our research we offer advice and assistance when developing and implementing policies or business assistance tools.
