Massey Business School is ranked by QS (Quacquareli Symonds) as one of the top 150 universities in the world for accountancy and finance. We are also in the top 250 universities for business and management and economics.
Massey Business School has been a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), a United Nations-supported initiative, since 2011. We are required to regularly submit a Sharing Information on Progress report.
Massey’s communication programmes are only the seventh outside of the US to be recognised by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (ACEJMC). This prestigious award recognises Massey's "good connections with industry, its commitment to constant improvement, its strong leadership, and large research output".
The Master of Professional Accountancy and Finance is the only master’s programme in New Zealand endorsed by the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA). It is the only postgraduate degree in New Zealand combining the vital business disciplines of accountancy and finance.
We are ranked in the top 150 universities worldwide for finance and business administration programmes by the ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. The former is the highest ranking among New Zealand business schools and the latter is first equal.
The ranking was determined by a series of indicators such as the number of papers authored by an institution in an academic subject, international collaboration on papers, and the number of staff winning awards in an academic subject.
Our study programmes are also individually accredited by world-leading industry bodies such as CIMA, SAS and RICS.
