“My study at Massey has given me a really good broad understanding of the agricommerce sector and has taught me how to socialise and network with people on a professional level…”
Growing up on a dairy farm gave me a strong enthusiasm for the agriculture industry. I also favoured business and math subjects at high school, so it made sense for me to study agricommerce. I knew that Massey had a strong reputation as one of New Zealand’s leading agriculture schools. Because of this, I knew Massey would be a great choice for my studies.
I really enjoyed studying at Massey. I found that the content in my courses was diversified and relevant. I enjoyed the ability to self-learn and work independently and there was always support when I needed it. My study at Massey has given me a really good broad understanding of the agricommerce sector and has taught me how to socialise and network with people on a professional level.
I am currently a Graduate Mobile Rural Consultant with FMG. This is a client facing role, where I get out and about in my region to help grow strong and prosperous rural communities. I love that my job allows me to build relationships with others in the agricultural industry and give back to my local community.
New Zealand’s agribusiness sector is flourishing, and there is strong demand for graduates, from running large farm-based businesses through to international trade. Our staff are active researchers. Therefore Massey's AgriCommerce programme integrates the most recent developments and thinking into your learning.
