Personal Profile

I am a lecturer in the Department of Management and Enterprise Development, Wellington Campus, Massey University. I currently lecture in business and society issues and organisations and management.

Research Profile

My research interests focus on corporate social responsibility, employee volunteering and business community partnerships to address community issues. I have an interest in SMEs' business community involvement activities, particularly in regards to collaborations with local community groups to address community issues. I recently completed PhD research “Business community partnerships in New Zealand: Understanding experiences of ‘partnership’”. This research examined how the nature of ‘partnership’ is understood by those actively involved in business community partnerships to address social issues in the New Zealand context and what characteristics enable or impede the development of such partnerships.
